Here are some of the issues parents are identifying: - I noticed that my child doesn't talk well or not much for their age! - We think our child can't do this or that, which is unusual for the age they are! - Teachers say my child doesn't listen in class, they are distracted and don’t focus on their tasks! - Our child has disturbing behaviour. They don’t listen to rules at home and at school. We don't know what we can do! - My child has been diagnosed with X syndrome, and I'm looking for a specialist to work with them to increase their abilities!
Missions as a children’s developmental and behavioural specialist: - I monitor children to identify potential disabilities. - Based on specific criteria (screening tools), I observe and compare the child’s abilities to their developmental state. Afterwards, I make recommendations and intervene. - If needed, I refer the child to a specialist (psychiatrist, speech therapist...) to obtain a diagnosis.
Through workshop sessions, I work with the child on: - Behaviour-emotion management - Autonomy - Socialization - Self-esteem - Academic abilities (from Grade 1) - Development depending on their needs (speech-language, motor skills and similar)
Fees: - Academic skills intervention: from 18 000 FCFA per session. - Developmental and behavioural intervention: from 25 000 FCFA per session. * A 5 000 FCFA fee will apply for the first meeting. It will be deducted from the next session.
